Hi Readers,

This is just a quick email to warn every WBB reader as to yet another virus just starting to make the rounds. I wouldn't normally have sent this warning so closely following my last virus warning, however this one is trying to exploit the terrorist attack in the United States, and as such many people might be fooled into opening it by mistake.

Current distribution of the virus is said to be low, but researchers warned that it could spread extremely quickly due to the emotionally charged subject. The virus spreads via email and appears to be a call for peace, with the text of the message reading in part reading 'Let's vote to live in peace'

The email contains an attachment 'WTC.exe' and a subject line that reads 'Peace between America and Islam' and like many other viruses, it spreads by mailing copies of itself to addresses stored in your address book.,

The payload of this virus however is quite dangerous as unlike others, the new virus causes more than a slowdown in Internet traffic, it deletes some files and overwrites others on your hard drive.

Other than the 'WTC.exe' the actual email looks like hundreds of other emails currently in circulation since the terrible events of September 11th. 

Don't forget if you get any email from anybody containing any sort of attachment that you are not expecting… do not open it… simply delete it from your system and you'll avoid catching any suspect viruses.
